Tony & Judy's Story
Tony Pasquini was a senior in college when his mother, Judy, inherited a run-down, out-of-business pizza place on South Broadway with whitewalls and a fluorescent-lit dining room. Undaunted, Tony opened his pizzeria with a $300 loan from his uncle Chuck.
Tony used his family’s authentic recipes to create a wholesome menu of Italian comfort food that would nurture and satisfy customers. Since money was tight, he relied on his creativity and determination to create a neighborhood gathering place where everyone felt welcome. Using reclaimed materials, mismatched tableware, architectural castoffs, and art from local artists, the décor justly reflected Tony and Judy Pasquini’s philosophy of life—accept everyone’s unique traits, without judgment or pretense.
Tony and Judy continue to serve the award-winning, authentic Italian food that Denver has grown to love, and adding healthier options to the menu that cater to everyone. They now operate restaurants in four unique neighborhoods – Highland, Lone Tree, 17th Avenue, and they have another pizza place in Cherry Creek.
At Restaurants by Tony Pasquini, we promote local food, wine and beer producers and keep our prices affordable. We craft our Italian family recipes with an eye toward healthy eating; we use organic flour, prepare our raviolis, lasagna and eggplant Parmesan from scratch everyday, and offer many gluten free options.
At Restaurants by Tony Pasquini, it’s important to us that we are part of the community. We sponsor fundraisers for non-profit organizations almost every week, and we cherish the opportunity to participate with you in our family of shared values—community, acceptance, and love of good food and hospitality.
